Four girls teams and three boys teams still have a chance to repeat as state tennis champions.
Still in the running among the boys teams are Lakeside Evans, Marist and Westminster. Still having a chance to repeat among the girls are Walton, Cambridge, Wesleyan and Irwin County.
They will get a chance to defend their championship on Saturday when all classifications determine their winners at the Clayton County International Park in Jonesboro.
The Class AAAAAA, the boys championship will be between the Northview-Chattahoochee winner and the Johns Creek-Lambert winner. The girls feature the Etowah-Norcross winner vs. the Walton-Kennesaw Mountain winner.
In Class AAAAA, Lakeside will meet Starr’s Mill for the boys title, while Kell will take on the winner of the Columbus-Cambridge match in the girls final.
In Class AAAA, Marist will play Carrollton for the boys championship and North Oconee will play Marist for the girls title.
In Class AAA, Oconee County will meet the Brantley County-Westminster winner in the boys division. Westminster will play Savannah Arts on the girls side.
In Class AA,the Lovett boys will play Pace Academy in the title game. In the girls division,In the girls bracket, Pace Academy will play Wesleyan, a team it has beaten twice this season.
In the Class A Private division, Paideia will play Athens Academy in the boys final, with Bookstone meeting Stratford Academy in the girls final.
In the Class A Public Division, Irwin County will meet Telfair County for the boys championship, with Irwin County will meet the Taylor County-Marion County winner in girls competition
